RAFC Update 9th September 2013
Rangers Presentation day will take place in the CYM Terenure at 4pm on Sunday 29th September. This is probably the only occasion when all the teams of the Club get together.
For our newer managers, it is where we give out last
season’s player of the year awards and also present cups / medals to
any team who claimed some silverware. In addition, there is a sweets,
drinks etc handed out to all the kids who go home as high as kites and
more importantly happy. It’s always a good day and we would ask that
all managers please make an effort to attend and encourage their
players and parents to do likewise.
Changing Rooms / Housekeeping;
A new combination lock has been fitted to the Rangers locker in the changing room in Bushy Park. See email for new combination code. All Steel Net fixings must be returned to side of box and not just thrown on floor. White holders are for holding small sided Goalposts only.
Also, after matches, managers should ensure that all
nets must be put back in bags and locked in Press
All managers should have their own match balls. In
some instances, footballs from Tony Sheridan’s academy dressing room are
being used for games / training etc. These should not be used for
that purpose. If you have not received any match balls or training
balls, please let me know by return email and I will organise same.
Every manager should also have a first aid kit. If
anyone doesn’t have one of these, please contact me and I will arrange
to get one to you.
Club Subs – Reminder that club subs are now due. Please see copy of pdf attached. Please print off and pass to parents and chase up payment. The club has had to incur a lot of expenditure recently between league fees, insurance. The payment of the club subscription obviously goes a long way towards meeting these type of payments so please do not delay in collecting the monies due.
Contact Details - Please find attached and also a link below a contact list for Managers and committee members. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new managers. We hope you enjoy your time in the club. If you need help or assistance with anything, please ask. In addition, we would also like to extend our gratitude to all our existing managers, many of whom have been a number of years with their respective teams. For managers looking to do any coaching courses, please do not hesitate to contact me and again this is something that the club can organise on your behalf.
Social media – The club through its webmaster, Brian Cleary, has really upped the anti on the social media front. Aside from our updated website, Brian has also set up a Facebook page and also a twitter account. We could do with a little more participation so once again, if you are on Facebook or Twitter yourself, please like our page and follow our account.
